“#GirlGaze”: How Women See the World
This unique, collective exhibition was started by Amanda de Cadenet, a photographer herself. With the aim to create an event which will celebrate and address issues of the female gender, Cadenet began a social media movement with the use of the hashtag #girlgaze, asking women photographers and artists over Instagram to submit photographs. Around 450,000 submissions were acquired.
